About this hub
CCX Media is a service of Northwest Community Television, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established in 1982 under a joint powers agreement serving nine northwest suburbs of Minneapolis - Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Crystal, Golden Valley, Maple Grove, New Hope, Osseo, Plymouth, and Robbinsdale.
Operating from Brooklyn Park and funded through a nine-city cable commission, CCX Media delivers four distinct programming streams: CCX News (professionally produced local news and public affairs), CCX Sports (full-game high school sports coverage with analysis and player profiles), CCX Cities (city meeting coverage and informational programming for all nine member cities), and CCX Create (free video production training and equipment access for residents). The organization covers more than 400 city meetings and 120 high school games annually and reaches a population of approximately 334,000 across the northwest suburban corridor.
Northwest suburban residents rely on CCX Media for the local news, high school sports coverage, and city council meeting records that keep nine communities with distinct identities connected to their shared civic infrastructure - programming that has served the northwest suburbs for more than four decades.
