About this hub
Gillette Public Access is the community access television operation for the City of Gillette, Wyoming, the self-proclaimed Energy Capital of the Nation and the largest city in Campbell County in the Powder River Basin of northeastern Wyoming.
The operation provides public access cable programming for Gillette residents, covering city council meetings and government proceedings and offering community members the opportunity to produce and broadcast locally focused content in Wyoming's largest city outside of Cheyenne and Casablanca.
Gillette residents rely on public access television for the city government coverage and community programming that reflects life in a city whose economy and identity are built around coal mining, oil, and energy production - a boom-and-bust community where local media helps anchor civic life through the economic cycles that define the Powder River Basin.
