Kentucky Educational Television (KET) is the statewide public television network for Kentucky, headquartered in Lexington and operating a network of transmitters and translators providing PBS programming and locally produced content to communities across the Commonwealth.

KET operates multiple broadcast channels serving Kentucky's diverse regions from the Appalachian coalfields to the Bluegrass horse country to the Ohio River cities, producing award-winning Kentucky-focused documentaries, legislative coverage, educational programming, and public affairs content alongside national PBS programming. The network has been particularly known for its GED and adult education programming, reaching Kentuckians who lack access to other educational resources.

Kentucky residents across the Commonwealth - from Louisville and Lexington to the small towns of eastern Kentucky and the Purchase region - rely on KET for the public television programming, Kentucky legislative coverage, and educational content that commercial broadcasters do not provide, making KET a cornerstone of public media in one of America's most geographically and culturally varied states.
