About this hub
WKTV Community Media is the community media organization serving Wyoming, Michigan, a Kent County city directly south of Grand Rapids and one of the largest cities in Michigan, providing PEG access television for this significant west Michigan suburban community.
WKTV provides public access cable television and media training for Wyoming residents, covering city council and government meetings and offering community members studio facilities, equipment, and channel access to produce and broadcast locally focused programming that reflects the diverse population of this west Michigan city.
Wyoming residents - in one of the most diverse cities in Michigan, with large Latino, Southeast Asian, and African American communities - rely on WKTV for the government coverage and community programming that give voice to the full range of a city whose extraordinary diversity is often invisible to the broader west Michigan region centered on its larger neighbor Grand Rapids.
