About this hub
Canton Community Television (CCTv) is the community media organization serving Canton, Massachusetts, a South Shore town in Norfolk County south of Boston with a strong civic identity and a notable history in the American independence movement.
CCTv operates three cable channels: a Community Station (Comcast 8, Verizon 43) for community events and volunteer programs, a Government Station (Comcast 22, Verizon 42) for live and recorded government meeting coverage, and a Student Station (Comcast 6, Verizon 41) for school sports and educational programming. The organization covers Canton Select Board, Conservation Commission, Zoning Board, and other government meetings live, and also produces podcasts through the Canton Community Station Podcast for on-the-go listening.
Canton residents rely on CCTv to follow town government in real time, catch interviews with local leaders and authors, and find the community programming - from naturalist shows to high school sports - that reflects the character of this engaged South Shore town.
