SchoPEG is the community media organization serving Schoharie County, New York, a rural upstate county in the northern Catskill region centered on Cobleskill, providing PEG access television for this historically and agriculturally significant community that suffered devastating flooding during Hurricane Irene in 2011.

The organization provides public access cable television for Schoharie County communities, covering county and municipal government meetings and offering community members the opportunity to produce and broadcast locally focused programming that reflects the character of this rural New York county.

Schoharie County residents rely on SchoPEG for the government meeting coverage and community programming that keeps a rural upstate county - one that has faced significant economic challenges and natural disasters while maintaining strong agricultural traditions and a distinctive sense of community identity in the Schoharie Valley - connected to its own civic institutions.
