About this hub
Brockton Community Access is the nonprofit community media organization serving Brockton, Massachusetts, one of the largest cities in southeastern Massachusetts and a city with a rich history in boxing and a large Cape Verdean and immigrant population.
The organization operates PEG access cable channels providing public, educational, and government programming for Brockton residents, including city government meeting coverage and community-produced programming that reflects the diversity of this mid-sized city south of Boston.
Brockton residents use community access television to follow City Council and School Committee meetings and to find programming in the languages and reflecting the cultures of one of the most diverse cities in Massachusetts - a community where Cape Verdean Creole, Portuguese, Spanish, and English-speaking residents all call Brockton home.
