Visit website →

Lex TV is the official government access cable channel for the City of Lexington, Kentucky's Fayette Urban County Government, broadcasting on Spectrum channel 185 and MetroNet channel 3 and streaming online since it first went on cable channel 3 in 1980.

The channel provides more than 400 hours of live government meeting coverage annually, including Urban County Council meetings, along with original programming such as Lexington Now (a weekly half-hour government news show), Council Reports from individual council members, and public service announcements. All programming is produced by the city's own video team and reflects the full range of Urban County Government activities.

Lexington residents - in Kentucky's second-largest city, a horse country metropolis that is home to the University of Kentucky and one of the South's most dynamic mid-sized cities - rely on Lex TV for the government transparency and original city programming that keeps nearly 320,000 residents connected to the Urban County Government decisions shaping their community.
