About this hub
CSDtv is the video production and live streaming service for Canyons School District, based in Sandy, Utah. It gives the district a dedicated media platform for school stories, student achievement, public information, and educational programming across the Canyons community.
The service covers K-12 school events across the district, including live sports, performances, board meetings, and other activities that connect families, schools, students, and staff. CSDtv also supports a Student Broadcaster Program, giving students hands-on experience in media production and storytelling.
As a school-district media service, CSDtv reflects the educational side of community media: documenting local schools, making public meetings and events accessible, and helping young people learn the tools of media production while telling the story of their own district.
