About this hub
Access Framingham Television (AFTV) is a nonprofit public access corporation designated by the City of Framingham, Massachusetts, to operate local PEG channels and support community media production in one of the largest cities in the MetroWest region.
AFTV runs public and educational channels on Comcast, RCN, and Verizon, manages FECtv for Framingham Public Schools, and provides training, equipment, studio access, and cablecasting facilities to any Framingham resident, student, or worker. It also produces The Frame, an award-winning local news and storytelling initiative covering Framingham people and events in a multimedia format.
Framingham residents connect with AFTV through School Committee meetings, local events coverage, and The Frame's on-the-ground reporting - civic media that reflects the full diversity of one of Massachusetts' most culturally varied communities.
