NewTV

NewTV is the community media organization serving Newton, Massachusetts, a large and affluent Middlesex County city west of Boston known as the Garden City, providing PEG access television for one of the most civically engaged communities in the Boston metropolitan area.

NewTV provides public, educational, and government access programming for Newton residents on cable and streaming platforms, covering city council and government meetings, school committee proceedings, and community events, and offering Newton residents and organizations training and production resources to create and broadcast locally focused programming.

Newton residents - in a city with an unusually high level of civic participation, excellent schools, and a strong sense of community identity distributed across 13 distinct village centers - rely on NewTV for the government coverage and community programming that keeps one of Greater Boston's most engaged communities connected to its own governance and democratic life.
