Madison City Channel is the government access cable television channel for the City of Madison, Wisconsin, the state capital and home to the University of Wisconsin, providing residents of one of the Midwest's most politically engaged cities with coverage of city government proceedings.

The channel broadcasts Madison Common Council meetings, Dane County Board of Supervisors proceedings, and city and county government programming for cable subscribers, and was recognized in 2001 as pioneering online indexing that allowed viewers to jump directly to agenda items in council video streams. The channel is available on Charter Spectrum digital channel 994 and streams online.

Madison residents - in a city known for unusually high civic engagement, progressive politics, and a culture where local government is followed closely by a politically active population - rely on the City Channel for the Common Council coverage that keeps this university capital city connected to the democratic proceedings that have long defined Madison's civic character.
