About this hub
Athol Orange Community Television (AOTV) is a nonprofit PEG access station and community media center serving the neighboring towns of Athol and Orange in the North Quabbin region of Massachusetts.
AOTV operates public, education, and government cable channels on Spectrum (Channel 1301) for subscribers in both towns, and also operates community radio station WVAO-LP 105.9 FM, which carries local information and the audio of AOTV programming. The station is largely volunteer-driven and covers governmental meetings including annual town meetings, selectboard, finance, and school committee sessions for both communities.
In the North Quabbin - a rural region often underserved by larger regional media - AOTV is the essential link for residents tracking civic decisions in Athol and Orange, and the place where community members can produce and air content reflecting life in these small New England towns.
