About this hub
Avon Community Access and Media (ACAM) is a nonprofit PEG access organization established in 2009 and serving Avon, Massachusetts, a small town in Plymouth County south of Boston.
ACAM operates public, educational, and government cable channels on Comcast Channels 8 and 9, providing local programming to Avon cable subscribers including government meeting coverage and community-produced shows. The organization is based at 2 East Main Street in downtown Avon and offers residents and businesses access to cable television facilities and production training.
Avon residents know ACAM for its town government coverage and for long-running local shows like the Crackerbarrel talk program with Bruce Lane and Gerry Picardi, Sandy's interview show covering local organizations and town committees, and Council on Aging presentations - local television that keeps a small South Shore town connected to itself.
