About this hub
Beverly Community Access Media (BevCam) is a multiple award-winning nonprofit community media center incorporated in 2001 and serving the City of Beverly, Massachusetts, a coastal city on the North Shore about 17 miles from Boston.
BevCam operates three PEG access channels on Comcast's cable system: a Public Access channel for community-produced programming, an Education Access channel for student-produced content and school sports, and a Government Access channel that covers hundreds of government meetings annually. Staff and facilities are based at Beverly High School, and the organization provides equipment, training, and production support to Beverly residents and organizations seeking to create and broadcast their own media.
Beverly residents know BevCam as the place to catch City Council and School Committee meetings, follow Beverly High athletics, and find the community programming and public forums that make a mid-sized North Shore city feel like a place where everyone has a voice.
