Idaho Public Television (IDPTV) is the statewide public television network for Idaho, headquartered in Boise and operating transmitters and translators across a geographically vast and sparsely populated state, providing PBS programming and locally produced content to Idaho communities.

IDPTV operates multiple transmitters and translators to reach communities throughout Idaho, producing locally focused documentary and public affairs programming alongside national PBS content, and serves as the state's primary noncommercial television service in a state with limited commercial broadcast options outside of the Boise market.

Idaho residents across the state - from the Panhandle to the Snake River Plain to the high desert of the Magic Valley - rely on Idaho Public Television for the PBS programming, Idaho-focused documentaries, and state government coverage that commercial broadcasters in a sparsely populated state rarely provide, making IDPTV a cornerstone of public media across the Gem State.
