About this hub
Arlington Independent Media (AIM) is a nonprofit membership community media center in Arlington, Virginia, serving Arlington County with public access television, community radio, and media education since 1982.
AIM provides training in video, audio, and digital content production from its Clarendon facility, which includes an HD three-camera television studio, audio production suite, editing stations, portable equipment, and a mobile production van. Video programming airs on Comcast Channel 69 and Verizon Channel 38, and since December 2015 AIM has also operated WERA-LP 96.7 FM, Radio Arlington, a community radio station serving Arlington and the broader DC metro area.
Arlington residents and the county's diverse communities use AIM to produce original programming that highlights local people, places, and events - content that centers voices that might otherwise go unheard in one of the most politically active media markets in the country.
