Tahoe Truckee Media is an educational and government access media center serving the Tahoe Truckee region from Truckee, California. The station provides a venue for local voice, education, public information, and community connection, helping residents stay up to date on local government, school district activity, and events across the region.

Formerly known as Tahoe Truckee Community Television, the station was restructured to better serve the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District, local governmental entities, and nonprofit organizations. Its programming includes public meetings, instructional activities, district-sponsored events, public affairs programming, and educational and governmental content produced by local nonprofits.

Tahoe Truckee Media serves a geographically distinct mountain region where local information, civic access, and community connection matter across distance. Through cable channels and online streaming, it reaches homes in Truckee, Tahoe City, the West Shore of Lake Tahoe, and parts of Placer and Nevada Counties while also making local programming available beyond the cable footprint.

The station’s history also reflects the storytelling role of local access media. Truckee Talks, one of the longest-running productions in the studio’s history, began in 1997 and featured discussions about issues, culture, and the character of the Truckee-Tahoe community. That mix of public meetings, school programming, nonprofit content, and local history makes Tahoe Truckee Media part of the civic record of the region.
