About this hub
LMC Media (formerly Larchmont Mamaroneck Community Television) is a nonprofit community media organization founded in 1983 serving the Village of Larchmont, the Town and Village of Mamaroneck in Westchester County, New York, described as the largest community media center in New York State outside of New York City.
LMC Media operates three PEG channels on Optimum and Verizon, covering government meetings for all three municipalities and school boards, and produces original programming including LMC Kids, the Future Filmmaker youth program, the Terror TV Halloween series, and the Larchmont-Mamaroneck family podcast. The organization maintains two locations including the Studio on the Avenue at 243 Mamaroneck Ave, and offers free studio booking to residents, nonprofits, and community organizations, along with media literacy education and youth filmmaking programs.
Larchmont and Mamaroneck residents rely on LMC Media for the municipal meeting coverage and community programming that makes these close-knit, civically engaged Long Island Sound communities visible to themselves - a media center that has served as a true public square for three neighboring municipalities for more than four decades.
