Matt Sullivan

Matt Sullivan is a community media leader associated with Larchmont Mamaroneck Community Television in New York, where his work connected local storytelling, station leadership, producer support, and the public, education, and government access mission of helping a Westchester County community create and share programming that reflects its own civic and cultural life. In 2020 he received the ACM's Emerging Leader Award, recognition for a newer generation of access professionals carrying community media's local-service values into changing production, distribution, and civic communication environments.

LMCTV serves the Larchmont and Mamaroneck communities in lower Westchester, providing local residents, organizations, and government entities with the production resources and channel access that allow community voices to reach a public audience.

Matt's recognition reflected both his specific contributions at LMCTV and the field's investment in the practitioners who will carry community media's mission forward as the regulatory and funding landscape continues to shift.
