Jasmine N. White is Chief Executive Officer of Montgomery Community Media, the independent nonprofit that provides public media access to more than one million residents of Montgomery County, Maryland. She came to the role in February 2023 with a career built entirely in community media. Before joining MCM, she served as Executive Director of Capital Community Media in Salem, Oregon, where she led an organizational restructure and created the station's first fund development strategy. Earlier, she worked at DCTV in Washington, DC, managing production services, creative services, and the organization's Youth Training Institute, and at MCM itself as Director of Education and Community Engagement. As an independent producer, she has created content focused on food injustice, voting rights, and social justice issues.

White holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Ramapo College of New Jersey, a Master of Film and Video from American University, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of the District of Columbia. She served as Board Chair of the Alliance for Community Media's national board of directors, championing good governance and issues of inclusion, equity, engagement, and accessibility. In 2026, she received the ACM's Sue Miller Buske Leadership Award, recognizing her leadership and service to the field.

Her career reflects a consistent commitment to community media as civic infrastructure - to making media access practical and real for the communities and organizations that need it most, and to ensuring that local storytelling, public information, and civic participation have a platform in the places where people actually live.
