Jesse Lerman

Jesse Lerman is a technology leader whose work has helped community media centers modernize how local programming is scheduled, streamed, captioned, archived, and delivered across platforms. He co-founded Princeton Server Group in 2003 with a focus on lowering the cost and complexity of digital video systems. After Princeton Server Group was acquired by TelVue Corporation in 2007, he became part of TelVue’s executive leadership and later President and CEO.

At TelVue, Jesse’s work has centered on the infrastructure many PEG and community media centers rely on behind the scenes: broadcast servers, channel automation, streaming, video-on-demand, cloud contribution, digital signage, program sharing, OTT/mobile delivery, and captioning tools. His leadership helped position TelVue as a technology partner for stations trying to move beyond traditional cable channels while still maintaining reliable local broadcast operations.

Jesse’s contribution to community media is not primarily as a station founder or executive director, but as one of the field’s technical enablers. Through TelVue products, conference sessions, accessibility discussions, AI/workflow presentations, and practical training for PEG operators, his work has helped community media centers adapt to changing technology while continuing to serve local voice, civic information, public meetings, and community storytelling.
