Timothy Egan

Timothy Egan is a broadcast and web-based video content specialist active across New England and Canada and a board member of the ACM Northeast Region. His work spans broadcast television production, digital content strategy, media affairs, education, and business development, connecting community media centers and media organizations to the technical and strategic expertise they need to adapt as production and distribution move across cable, web, and streaming platforms. He holds two New England Emmy Awards and teaches at Vermont State University's NVU campuses in the Visual Arts, English, Film, and Business departments.

His service on the ACM Northeast Region board places that range of professional experience in service of the field, contributing to the regional conversations about how community media centers navigate technology transitions while sustaining their civic missions.

Timothy represents the professional support layer that helps access centers remain technically current without losing sight of what they are technically current for.
