Bernardo Moronta

Bernardo Moronta is Director of Programming at BronxNet, the community media organization serving the Bronx, New York, where he has led acclaimed productions including the 2025 New York Emmy-nominated series EcoLeaders and a Nor'Easter Award-winning anti-gun violence PSA. His work at BronxNet connects local storytelling, producer development, and community engagement in a borough where community media has long served as a platform for cultural life and civic voice that commercial television rarely reflects. He also serves on the ACM Northeast Region board.

BronxNet's programming under his direction has focused on giving professional development opportunities to hundreds of local producers and students, building the production capacity of the community alongside the station's own output.
