Erik Davis

Erik Davis is the Executive Director of TV Santa Barbara (TVSB), Santa Barbara's nonprofit community access television organization, a position he has held since November 1, 2017. With a background in marketing, communications, broadcast journalism, fundraising, and membership development - including a prior role as Senior Director of Institutional Advancement and Communications at Pacifica Graduate Institute - Davis brought a strong external communications and revenue focus to TVSB when he joined the organization.

Under Davis's leadership, TVSB has expanded its community reach, grown its youth educational programs, launched a creative services department, and worked to position the organization as a broader community platform for storytelling across broadcast, streaming, and digital channels. He hosted the ACM West Region's annual conference and trade show in 2023. Davis holds a PhD from Rice University and has served on the boards of the Santa Barbara Downtown Organization and the Channel Islands YMCA.

A deeply embedded figure in Santa Barbara civic life, Davis served as El Presidente of Old Spanish Days Fiesta in 2020 and was selected as the King of the 2023 Summer Solstice Celebration, reflecting both his personal investment in the city's cultural traditions and the community relationships he has built through his role at TVSB.
