Helena Leschuk

Helena Leschuk serves as Operations Manager at Brattleboro Community Television in Vermont and as the Inclusion, Equity, and Engagement Caucus Representative on the ACM national board, a combination that places her at the intersection of daily station work and the field's ongoing effort to make community media more equitable in practice as well as principle. Her operational role keeps a Vermont access center running, while her national board position carries the IEE perspective into field-wide conversations about who community media actually serves and who it leaves out.

BCTV serves the Brattleboro area as a public access resource for one of Vermont's more diverse small cities, and Helena's operational work supports the station's ability to serve producers and communities across that diversity.

Her dual role reflects the kind of field contribution that often goes unrecognized: the practitioner who shows up for both the station and the national organization, bringing the daily operational perspective into the policy and governance spaces where the field's direction gets set.
