Laureen Fallahay

Laureen Fallahay is Operations Director at Access Sacramento and a member of the ACM Western Region board. Her work connects station operations, local production support, organizational infrastructure, and the regional peer networks that help community media centers serve residents, producers, nonprofits, and civic institutions across the Sacramento region.

Access Sacramento is one of California's longer-established public access operations, and the operational layer Laureen manages is what makes its civic role possible: functioning channels, accessible facilities, reliable support for community producers, and systems that hold together under the daily pressure of keeping a media center running.

Her regional board service carries that operational perspective into the western field's shared conversations about sustainability, technology, and what it takes for community media centers to remain useful to the communities they were built for.
