Maritza Grooms

Maritza Grooms is a community media leader associated with Cambridge Community Television and a member of the ACM national board. Her work connects local access, community engagement, producer support, and the national field-building work of the ACM, representing on the national board the ongoing role of community media centers as local civic infrastructure in communities where training, access, and trusted neighborhood media remain essential to participation.

CCTV serves Cambridge as one of Massachusetts' more active community media centers, operating in a city whose diversity, density, and civic culture make it a demanding environment for community media to navigate and a rewarding one when the work is done well.
