Access Fort Wayne is the community media center of the Allen County Public Library, serving Fort Wayne and Allen County, Indiana from a full production facility inside the Main Library on West Washington Boulevard.
The center gives residents free access to studio space, edit suites, and camera equipment, with programming airing on six cable channels covering public, education, and government access on Comcast and Frontier. The library also operates an Audio Reading Service broadcast on 89.1 FM HD2 and online streaming serving an estimated 80,000 people with visual, physical, or learning challenges, alongside community radio station WELT-LP.
Fort Wayne residents have counted on Access Fort Wayne for more than 40 years of local coverage - from City Council and school board meetings to community events that rarely make commercial news - and for a production pathway that helps anyone with a story find a way to tell it.
